Mongolia - remote and mysterious, homeland of the greatest conqueror of all time, Chinggis Khaan; a country of rugged mountains, rolling steppes, awesome Gobi desert and Altai mountains. It is unforgettable wide-open land of extreme climate and extraordinary natural environment with breathtaking scenery, fascinating wildlife and wonderfully hospitable people. Mongolia is a land of horses and herdsmen. It is one of the last great undisturbed wilderness areas on earth where 40% of 2.6 million people are some of the last truly nomadic pastoralists in the world. Adventurers can experience the unique pleasures of staying with Nomads and experience a lifestyle much like it was many centuries ago.

Travelers will witness the unsurpassed skills of Mongolian Nomads as they round up semi-wild horses on the open steppes, share stories that go back for many generations and, like nowhere else, truly live off the land. This is an adventure that invites exploration. Mongolia is not a country to visit in a hurry.

Triple Dare's spectacular adventure is a 17-day trip/trek planned for September of 2011. The itinerary starts in the capital of Ulaanbaatar with a day of sightseeing. From there we head east into one the more remote regions, traveling by jeep, horse, kayak and by foot. Spectacular scenery including steppes, alpine forests, lakes and rivers will be a daily occurrence. Accommodations will be in Gers and tents, while mixing with Nomads and Tribes people whenever possible. Triple Dare adventurers will visit monasteries, national parks, sacred mountains and visit numerous villages along the way. River/lake travel will enable us to fish for the many species unique to the area. The complete daily itinerary is available upon request.
